How to start working at the European Union or other Int'l Organizations?
For most of the International Relations students across the globe it's like a dream-come-true of having the opportunity to work at the #EuropeanUnion or another international organization, such as the #UnitedNations (UN), the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (#OSCE), or even the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (#NATO).
Every year, these organizations publish internship and/or traineeship positions for young students and recent graduates in order to give them the opportunity to take a peek into the world of international relations. With the right attitude, hard work and good timing some might even get the chance to obtain an entry-level position. Nonetheless, we often don't know what the responsibilities and benefits of those open positions are, and the first phase, the application process, is also a difficult step to take.
Luckily, there are several online resources which can help us, young people, to manage our applications in time and discover more about what certain open positions entail.
For example, the organization World of International Relations (W.I.R.) shares the following document with us: http://world-ir.international/wp-content/uploads/Opportunities_EU_2017.pdf
Share this with those who might be interested in working with the EU or other international organizations.
I wish you the best of luck in your future applications!
